Alicia holds BFA in Photography and a BA in English and History from Concordia University.  She recently completed a Masters in Photography at the Royal College of Art. Her broad approach to photography and installation has been exhibited in both Canada and the UK.  She is currently based in Berlin, Germany.





Alicia Hamerman’s prints, sculptures and installations resist fixed conclusions. Her works offer conceptual explorations on themes of affect, visuality and textual play which come together to explore the material potential of image making.
